Bloom Reviews

Hi All!

Today’s review got a bit delayed by life so it’ll be going up tomorrow. Incidentally, that life just happens to be getting engaged last December (I’m constantly getting distracted by wedding things now) and getting a promotion at my full-time job (which means I’ll probably be getting a little busier). Anywho, this shouldn’t effect my blog schedule too much. New reviews will go up every Wednesday and Saturday as long as there are no unforeseen delays, and long articles will be going up once a month.

But what I really want to talk about is two new ideas for this blog that I’d like some opinion on:

– One is the introduction of dating sim and/or visual novel game reviews onto this blog. I figure it would be something new and interesting while also keeping to the theme of the blog itself. The only problem being that buying some of these can get expensive over time so it would probably wind up being a once-in-a-while thing.

– Two is a weekly round-up of news from around the internet. I already retweet a good amount of news over on my Twitter, but I’d like to bring that onto the blog. They’d probably wind up being short posts with a list of links to check out, but I think it could be an interesting discussion starter at least. These would probably be going up every Sunday.

Let me know what you guys think of these two ideas as well as your favorite places to get news and updates on anime and comics. I’d love to hear if these are something you’d all be interested in reading.

Also, as I mentioned in my Liebster Award post, I’ll be attending two conventions in the Boston area come April this year: Anime Boston and PAX East. I’ll be tweeting out some news and impressions during the day those two weekends, so be sure to follow me on Twitter if you’re interested. I’m not hosting any panels, but I’ll be wandering around, checking out other panels and trying to fulfill my mission of getting some Cardcaptor Sakura merch.
